Yesterday was too hard day. I had done many difficult things. Morning was not good, I had to get up early to go to school and I just hadn't got enough sleep. Afternoon was not good too, i had had 2 bad marks((  Dinner was wonderfull. I went to the cafe with my friend! In the evening I was tidying up my flat, helped my mother to cook. Next I was doing my home task and went to bed. 

тут не только Past Simple но и Past Continuous и Past Perfect. Думаю, так правильней =))
