My favorite musicToday are many genres and directions of music. Different kinds of people like to listen different kinds of music. But sometimes modern music has a bad influence on youth and adults. Some young people try to look like as their favorite singers. They try to imitate all idols habits, it can be dangerous because some singers have much bad habits (for example: drugs and alcohol). Each band or singer has his own music style and topics of his songs. As for me I like to listen music very much and of course I have my favorite singers and bands.I like ROCK music the best, because there are many ROCK bands, which make good music with rhythm and sense. Usually I listen nu metal music. My favorite metal band is Linkin Park. Linkin Park is an American rock band from California. Linkin Park was formed in 1996 by students and school friends Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon. Then Mr. Joe Hahn and Dave Farrell joined to Linkin Park. At first the band called Xero, then Hybrid Theory and only since 2000 it began to call Linkin Park. In 1999 Linkin Park invited Chester Bennington to be the band’s vocalist and Chester agreed. Since 1993 Chester was the lead vocalist in “Grey Daze”. Then Linkin Park began to record songs and in 2000 the band released their first studio album “Hybrid Theory”. It was a great success, ”Hybrid Theory” was certified Diamond, one of the songs called “Crawling” became the Grammy Award winning. Then Linkin Park recorded “Meteora” in 2003, and remixes album “Collision Course” with the famous rapper Jay-Z in 2004. Also in 2004 Shinoda formed a new band Fort Minor. Fort Minor released debut album “The Rising Tied”. The LP’s third studio album was recorded and released in 2007. Many of Linkin Park’s songs were winnings of charts and ratings. One month ago they received new song for “Transformers 2” it call “New Divide”. Linkin Park is a band, which constructed new music style. Nu metal is idiosyncratic music genre, because it united hip hop, alternative ROCK, heavy metal, funk metal, groove metal and grunge. My favorite songs are “Numb”, “In the End”, “By Myself”, “What I’ve Done” and Mike Shinoda is my favorite member of LP. There is Interesting fact that Mike is Tchaikovsky kinsman. Linkin Park very often subscribe for alms-deed. Also I like to listen some others metal bands, for example Rammstein, SOAD, Green Day, Offspring and some ROCK songs by Queen, Scorpions, Metallica, Survivor, Depeche Mode, Eagles, Red Hot Chili Peppers etc.But I like not only foreign ROCK, also I like Russian ROCK. My favorite Russian ROCK singers are Vyacheslav Butysov and Victor Choy. My favorite bands are Bi-2 and Agatha Christie (decadence ROCK). Also I listen Aquarium and Crematory.My favorite music genre is ROCK but I like to listen some others music genres too. For example my favorite chanson singer is Mikhail Krug. Also I like to listen melodies by Ennio Morricone, blues by Louis Armstrong, rock n roll by Beatles, europop by Modern Talking, trance by PPK, big beat by Chrystal Method and many others music. Some genres of music I don’t like. For example I hate club music and Russian RAP.
